About Potter's Hand

     

    How We Work

    Potter’s Hand Homeschool Co-op meets weekly on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Northside Community Church. Our day begins with everyone gathering together for a time of worship before we breakout into group sessions. Each group lasts for an hour and 10 minutes allowing for two group sessions per week. Our semester lasts for 13 weeks.

    The classes offered vary from semester to semester as the classes are determined by what the Potter’s Hand members are willing to lead. Members lead most of the groups so participation amongst the parents is vital to the success of Potter’s Hand.

     

    Member Requirements

    Potter’s Hand is a cooperative, the weekly attendance and service of one parent is required in order for the family to remain in good standing and be eligible for participation in the future.

    At least one parent is required to remain at church while Potter’s Hand is meeting and to serve during one of the two group sessions. Service opportunities include: Group Leader, Group Assistant, Nursery Worker, Floater, or Hospitality.

    We ask that you have at least one school aged child, 5 years old or older as of August 22, to enroll for the Fall 2018 Semester. All members have the opportunity to participate in a women’s bible study during the session hour they are not serving.

     

    Semester Fees

    Registration Fees 

    There is a $35 registration fee per family to participate in the program per semester.

    Please note: You are not registered for class sessions until the night of orientation when payment is rendered. All fees are nonrefundable after orientation is complete. 

    Class Fees

    Class fees start at $10 and go up in cost depending on the materials needed. Each student has two class sessions per semester.

    Tours

    Tours of the church will be given during Information Sessions and Registration.
