Praise & Worship Team
We serve a living God who has captivated our hearts by His love. We let Him know
that we appreciate who He is and what He has done by singing "love songs" to
Him. That's the heart of worship.
Praise and worship music is unique in its ability to aid believers in their worship
of God. It can help us express our emotions, teach us about God, unite us as one
body in song, prepare us for worship, and act as a vehicle both for the Word of
God and for individual response back to God.
In John 4:23, we see that God desires worship. If we are to respond to Him as He
wishes, we will bring praise, adoration, and obedience to the One who alone is
worthy. The primary purpose of worship is directed toward the object of worship,
not the worshipper.
Our Weekend Celebration service usually opens and closes with praise and worship
music plus includes a message, announcements, and a multimedia or drama
presentation.
There are many ways to get involved with the worship ministry. You can use your
talents in the worship band, on the multimedia team, or help with the sound team
to name just a few.
