Many suggest that the foundation of women’s ministry is found in Titus 2:3-5 (NIV). "Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God”
In addition to the overall church mission (to meet our community’s changing needs by living the unchanging Gospel of Christ), the women of Northside seek God’s calling for our lives as women through prayer and study of His Word, and grow in discipleship, missions and evangelism in hopes of leaving a legacy for future generations. We gather for bible studies, training, revival conferences, women’s conferences and fellowship. As a group, we serve at the Raleigh Rescue Mission and lead Operation Christmas Child.
