What kind of church is this?
Northside Community is a casual, contemporary, and caring church serving the growing community of Eastern Wake County. We want to share the good news of Jesus Christ to our community in a culturally relevant way. We also desire to see people grow in their faith and be disciples of Jesus. Northside is a place where people can be real and can come to know Jesus Christ in a real and personal way.

What should I wear?
Be yourself!!!! There is no dress code at Northside. We encourage everyone to dress casually or whatever is comfortable; after all, our pastor wears Hawaiian shirts during the summer. So, feel free to leave the tie at home.

How long will the service last?
Our Sunday morning service typically lasts about an hour and 15 minutes. Our service is upbeat, lively, and encouraging. Be sure to save some time to talk with Pastor Adrian and others either before or after the service.

What will the service be like?
Part of our mission at Northside is to be relevant. With that in mind, we use technology, multimedia, drama, and a live band during our services. The message will be pertinent and will address issues you face everyday. Our desire is to present the unchanging truths of the Bible in a way that is easily understood.

What's available for my children?
At Northside, our kids have fun! It is our desire to make sure your children have a positive experience when they are with us. We have a fully staffed nursery (newborns to crawlers) during our Sunday morning services. During the 10:00 am worship service, Kid's Worship (ages 2 years old – 5th grade) is in full swing. We have a dedicated space for our children's ministry that is located next door to the main building. For more info on Kid's Worship and other children's activities, click here.

Is Northside Community Church non-denominational?
We consider our church to be one expression of God's universal church. Within the boundaries of the Bible, we neither encourage nor teach religious division, where one denomination or church group is considered superior to another.
Although we are autonomous in matters of governance and pastoral leadership, we are not a "lone ranger." Some work of Northside Community Church requires that we cooperate with other churches. We are affiliated with other churches–collectively called the Advent Christian Church – through which foreign missions, publications, Bible-training, camps and church planting are carried out.
The Advent Christian Church is a Protestant, Evangelical denomination, not to be confused with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Our congregation is composed of persons from across the spectrum of Christianity: Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Catholic, Episcopal, etc. Few persons at Northside Community grew up as part of a church affiliated with the Advent Christian Church.
